    Dr. J. Patrick KennedyFounder and CEO

    Under Dr. Kennedy's visionary leadership, the company has grown from a small startup in 1980 to a highly profitable global software corporation. In the early days, Dr. Kennedy's role included everything from sales to consulting. As the company matured, the role evolved into one of finding the right people to manage and direct the ever-growing company.

    Prior to founding the company, Dr. Kennedy worked as a research engineer for Shell Development Company and as an applications consultant for Taylor Instrument Company.

    Dr. Kennedy holds a B.S. and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kansas. A registered professional engineer in control systems engineering, he holds a patent on a catalytic reformer control system. He co-authored a chapter of the book "Planning, Scheduling and Control Integration in the Process Industries," C. Edward Bodington, ed. (McGraw-Hill Co., 1995), and is the author of numerous papers. Dr. Kennedy has many awards including the prestigious Silicon Valley Engineering Council Hall of Fame.

    Jenny LintonPresident

    Jenny is responsible for operations as well as overseeing the management team of OSIsoft. Her strategic focus is to support the broader adoption and global growth of OSIsoft, building upon an installed base in more than 110 countries.  In addition, she has been working on the creation of the new San Leandro Tech Center, which will be the new headquarters for the company.  

    Jenny joined the company full time in 2001 and since then has worked in finance, recruiting, executive administration, management and operations.

    Jenny holds a B.S. in Environmental Toxicology and a M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering, both from the University of California at Davis.

    Mike KennedyVice President of Operations

    Mike oversees the Operations team, which is comprised of order fulfillment, business process management, internal software development and the delivery of corporate IT services and infrastructure. Mike's professional focus in empowering people with the information needed to make decisions that drive value for OSIsoft customers.  As an internal support organization, their mission is to drive value for OSIsoft customers by increasing the productivity of our workforce.

    Mike joined OSIsoft in 2003 where he worked in technical support and marketing. Prior to OSIsoft, he spent several years in the design and manufacturing of composite structures for the Aerospace Industry.

    Mike holds a B.S.E. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.

    Martin OttersonSenior Vice President-Customer Success


    Martin leads all aspects of the business at OSIsoft, with the creation of the Customer Success Organization. OSIsoft has transformed the organization to ensure the focus on a journey for clients from Discovery through Transformation. The purpose of Customer Success is to guide our team to find innovative ways to use the OSIsoft technology with clients along their journey.

    Martin joined OSIsoft in 2002. While at OSIsoft, he has held Business Development Role's in creating new markets and initiated a Business Unit focused on the Critical Facilities and Data Center use of the PI System. Martin transitioned to Vice President EMEA, until he made the move back to Headquarters in San Leandro to supervise the Global Sales, Marketing and Partners. Prior to OSIsoft, Martin worked at Cisco Systems, where he was instrumental in the Cisco Systems acquisition of the Unity product line from Active Voice. Martin began his career at Active Voice, where he provided senior leadership in the Unified Communications marketing and sales strategy and drove strategic partnerships, customer acquisitions and business development.

    Martin holds a B.A. in Political Science from Western Washington University.

    Bob GuilbaultChief Financial Officer

    Bob oversees the functions of finance, accounting, risk management, business support, financial planning and analysis, investor relations, internal audit, tax and facilities management for OSIsoft LLC and over 20 non-US entities.  

    Bob has over 33 years of business experience in finance, consulting and operational roles.  As an executive leader and front line manager, Bob has developed and implemented strategies for risk management, process improvement, ERP selection and implementations, and acquisition and divestment transactions. Bob joined OSIsoft in 2007 and has worked closely with the senior leadership as an executive team member from the start. Prior to joining OSIsoft, Bob was CFO with C&H Sugar Company, a leading brand name in the food and beverage industry. Bob began his business career as a commercial banker and spent time in management consulting to the food and beverage industry. 

    Bob holds a MMA from the JL Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and B.A. in Economics from Bowdoin College.

    Jason ScullyVice President and General Counsel

    Jason oversees all corporate, licensing, intellectual property and compliance initiatives. He played a crucial role in globalizing OSIsoft, establishing scalable business processes, and building the legal department to support the company's continued growth.

    Jason first joined OSIsoft in 2002 as the company's first in-house attorney. Before joining OSIsoft, Jason served as OSIsoft's outside counsel at Perkins Coie and Fenwick and West. He was also the co-founder of a Partner Management SaaS start-up which was acquired in 2000.

    Jason holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley where he graduated with honors and Phi Beta Kappa. He later received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law where he graduated Cum Laude, Order of the Coif and a member of the Thurston (scholastic honorary) Society.

    Ray Hall Vice President of Engineering

    Ray is responsible for the design and development of software systems at OSIsoft including all aspects of the PI System. Ray was responsible for the development of Asset Framework, which allows the definition of assets for organizing PI Data. Under his leadership, the Engineering Team at OSIsoft has released exciting innovations of the PI System including asset-based analytics, Coresight 2014 and Esri integration. 

    His career at OSIsoft began in 2002. Prior to joining OSIsoft, Ray developed batch automation systems at Sequencia and paper machine control systems at Accuray. 

    Ray holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Oregon State and a M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.

    Dawn SpragueVice President of Global Human Resources

    Dawn manages the strategy and execution of all things to do with employees at OSIsoft.  She and her global team assist the company with hiring, employee relations, compensation and benefits, corporate policies and organizational development. Hiring the best talent, ensuring they have the right skills and the right work environment to thrive is critical to OSIsoft's success.  She is a key element of maintaining the culture and expertise of OSIsoft while growing the employee base and helping existing employees at their OSIsoft careers evolve. 

    Dawn joined OSIsoft in 2007 as an HR Generalist and later worked with operations, sales, marketing and industry in various HR roles. Prior to joining OSIsoft, Dawn worked as a technical instructor for Accenture, managed the training organization at Avolent and was HR Manager at SAFE Security. 

    Dawn holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Davis and a M.S. in Political Science from the University of Oregon.

    Richard BeesonCTO

    Richard is responsible for the overall PI System Architecture, aligning business and technology to deliver products and services for exceptional customer value and experience. He leads OSIsoft's cross departmental Strategic Planning Group helping shape the long term product vision and strategy. He also sponsors OSIsoft's Research and Innovation efforts, designed to keep OSIsoft's engineers and technology leading edge, maintaining our role as a pathfinder. Richard routinely engages with strategic customers and partners as well with advisory boards across the business and technology community.

    Richard joined OSIsoft in 1990 as a Software Engineer.

    Richard holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
